Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

To make wine by the bottle, you can try the following method: Ingredients – three pints juice and 3 pints water, little over three cups of sugar, two teaspoons of acid mix, half a teaspoon of pectic enzyme, one teaspoon of yeast nutrient, one crushed Camden tablet and one packet of wine yeast.

Blend all the ingredients that your require with the exception of yeast. Let the mixture stand untouched for a full day, and then you can add the yeast to it. Let the solution ferment in an open vessel for around five days. You can cover the container with plastic to prevent dust from entering. After it is fermented, siphon the mixture into a jug and put in under airlock for a period of one month. By this time, the clarity of the wine should start becoming visible. Siphon off the lees into another jug and allow it to settle until it attains clarity.
