How To Keep A Password To Start Menu And Desktop Properties?

    I believe you must do this thrbios.  when you turn on pc pres f12 key and see if it gives you a password option.  if not, go to your screensaver and choose password protected but know that every time ur screensaver appears you must input password code.♥

      You can also use the windows user accounts to create a password. You can find that under Control Panel->User Accounts.

      If you have an administrator account and have the person that you are trying to lock out the display properties from you can go into the registry and edit the keys so that only the administrator has control of those functions.  Another route would be to use the policy editor in Administrative Tools in the Control Panel to edit the policies.  I've also heard that deleting desk.cpl in the System 32 folder will do it, but I have never tried that so if you decide to try it just move the file rather than delete it or just make sure you back it up.

      I'm not quite sure how to lock out the Start Menu, but I dunno why you'd want to do it anyhow.
