The city is situated at the grid references that is around 66 km, to the west of London and 48 km southeast of Oxford that is around 40 miles to the east of Swindon.

Reading is the largest town in England not the 17th....it is not a city.
I live in Reading and yes it is the biggest town in Berkshire and a grate place to live in ! And also the biggest town in England because it was going to be a city but the roads in Reading are much different then a city's and more similar to a towns so they put it as a town . Hope this helps !
