One of the greatest writers of 20th century F. Scott Fitzgerald was the man who was considered as an author of the Jazz age and also belong to the generation which is termed as the 'Lost Generation'. Though he finished only four novels, he gained immense popularity for his work and a few of his works were among the best sellers of that time. His short stories were also quite popular and most of them had their basis on the themes that are related to youth and the despair they face while ageing.
If we talk of his writing years, it was in contrast to his popularity; his professional writing career had a lifespan of only 20 years as he wrote from 1920 to 1940. While writing he also tried his hand in screen writing and wrote for famous MGM studios.
