What Happens To A Car Engine When It Breaks Down Because Of No Oil And Antifreeze?

I am a not a blurtit member. Just had this question needed answer

    Never mind the anti-freeze, without oil your engine pistons become so hot they weld themselves to the block head. If this happened your engine is totally destroyed and you need a new one.

    if the engine is not locked up you either have a bad coolant leak or the coolant went out the exhaust so you either have a cracked block or cracked head

      the block cracks then you loose compression. Throw the block away its junk. If you have the tools or the money to get it fixed it can be rebuilt. It is a lot of work though.  If it's a classic car we always paint stuff up while the motor is apart. You can add some crome and even bore and stroke it over.
