What Are The Influences Of FM Radio In Economic Activities?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Edwin Howard Armstrong invented the broadcast technology or FM broadcasting network. The technology uses dedicated frequency modulation, which is also what gives it its name. The system was designed to make available sound of high-fidelity quality over the radio. Today, FM has taken an important place amidst the media giants and plays a very important role in public life. The FM coverage all over the world includes current affairs, economics, global environmental issues, entertainment and even finance. The broadcast deals with educating the masses by placing 'on air' professionals that not only advice, but also conduct forums.

FM airs all current dealings within a society or the country at large. The economical affairs like budgeting and inflation are brought to the common man in a very casual and matter of fact way, leaving ample space for questioning. Since it is an unbiased application, the authorities answerable for a particular issue are accessed via the medium. The common man is now only a 'turn of a knob away' from prices and hikes that affect his life and that of his immediate society. The opportunity provided to the public, that of remaining anonymous if they wish, makes it easier for the 'behind the scenes' economists to offer valuable suggestions.
