Answer Question

    5x2 = 100
    x2 = 20     (I can divide both sides by 5 without altering the value of the variable--according to the division property.)
    x = ±√20    (The square root property says I can take the square root of both sides without altering the value of the variable.)
    x = ±2√5    (simplify the radical)
