Bosnia is a 51,129 sq km country lies on the Balkan Peninsula, in South Eastern Europe. It is enclosed by Serbia on the northeast, Montenegro on the southeast and Croatia on the west and north. It is almost surrounded by land, except for 20 km of the Adriatic Sea seaboard is centered around the city of Neum; it is a famous tourist destination. The country is governmentally separated into two entities, namely the 'Republika Srpska' and, 'the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina'. Sarajevo is the nations capital. This country is basically formed by two regions, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the northern region is occupied by Bosnia, while the southern part of the country is occupied by Herzegovina.
The 1984 Olymic games was held in Eastern Bosnia which is the most mountanious part. Bosnia Herzegovina lies in the Central European Time Zone.
