What Should I Put Where In My Fridge?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Obviously, anything that you think you won't eat in time, should immediately go into the freezer if you have one.  Eggs can go in the egg tray, this frees up space in the fridge itself.  Put cheese, butter etc in their compartments and drinks on the inside of the door.

Inside, it is important to separate your foods.  Ready to eat food, cooked meats, etc, should go on the top shelf to prevent any contamination.  Salads and vegetables can go in the trays in your fridge of the very bottom shelf.

Just up from them go your raw meats, ready for cooking, better to organise them in the date order of which they will go off.  Plan your meals around this to save wasted money.

If you have an extra shelf still, put cartons that are unopened, or bottle of beer or whatever needs to lie down.

The key rule is keep that raw and cooked foods apart!
