How Can I Answer The Question "Tell Us A Situation When You Handled A Rude Customer?"

Answer Question

Handling rude customers is an unfortunate reality for staff in various client facing roles. Typically the best ways of dealing with them is to let them get it off their chest and let them know that you are listening and understanding the reasons for their rudeness (in the situation that they have a reason to be rude). Even though you may not be able to solve the problem, they will usually chill out. If they are rude for no apparent reason, try not to react initially and go so far as to let them know that you wish to help them. If they swear off or are abusive, then you have a choice to ask them to stop or terminate the situation.
Situations like these can be in shops or over the telephone or places where you have to work for a company where customer interaction takes place.
