What Is Lockout Caused By Lack Of Flame? And What Is The Repair To Stop It?

I have a problem with my gas furnace.There is a light code that says lockout caused by lack of flame.

    It sounds like it is locking out the gas flow so it doesn't build-up and cause a potentially dangerous situation. You most likely need to turn off the gas flow, turn off all the sources of power to the unit. Wait about 15 minutes for the air to clear, then follow the pilot lighting instructions for your system.
