How Are Foundation Schools Funded In England?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Foundation schools are very widespread in England and Wales. This has caused many countries to adopt such schools as it helps the under privileged children to finish their education and be successful in life. These foundation schools are non-profit schools and they have only one purpose; that is to provide free education to children who cannot afford to spend money on education. These schools are not directly funded by the central government. The fund is supplied to the education department of that state and is equally distributed to the schools. Many organisations all over the world fund these schools. Many people also give charities to such an institution so that the kids have the basic education amenities.

These schools receive grants from many institutions as well. Voluntary aided schools and community schools and colleges are also similar kinds of schools that you will find all over the world.
