I have a black lab with the same problem. Chunks literally fall off, we have tried everything. If you find a cure, please post. Thanks.

My dog has the same thing. She often sneezes a lot and her eyes water. It's probably just allergies.

Well my dog had the same thing but it ended up being an autoimmune disease treated with steroids, but it's most likely sunburn or dried out from cold (whichever applies). Try Bag Balm.
