The Dodge Intrepid is a big sized four-door front wheel drive sedan. It is a mechanical relative of the Chrysler Concorde and the Eagle Vision. These three cars were assigned as a group under the heading LH, the codename which Chrysler adopted in order to underpin them. In Canada, it was produced as the Chrysler Intrepid. It took the place of Dynast by becoming Dodge's biggest car.
The design of this car seems to have originated in the year 1986, in the completion of the exterior pattern of an aerodynamic sedan called as the Navajo, designed by Kevin Verduyn. However, the design never got past the clay model phase.
If you want to install a 1997 v8 engine into a 1996 v6 Dodge Intrepid, it is not very advisable; however you should probably consult your mechanic before taking any steps.
