Its best if you get a vet to show you the first time. Be warned, its messy and stinky and takes practise til you can do it without getting it everywhere

Well let me try to explain this its been awhile my mom had poodles but i remember you grab the behind and put one finger on one side of the anal opening and one finger on the other side and you push and it should come out now I'm gonna warn u it doesn't smell pleasant at all and she always did her poodles about 1 or 2ce a week

Go here for info...It's not so bad in a little dog. I raised Great Danes for many years and they were messy and smelly. My little guy isn't that bad. I do them about once a month.
