Certainly will. I consider it part of my civic duty. However, these days it doesn't seem that there are any candidates worth voting for, and I refuse to vote out of fear, i.e. Vote for one person just to keep the other guy out. That makes me a political slave!
And since the Democrats and Republicans have repeatedly, systematically and consistently lies to the American people for generations, I rarely vote 'mainstream' even if I feel my candidate doesn't have a chance.
I vote my conscience. The truth as I see it. Voting for a candidate I really don't want just to keep the other guy out, is really a lie.
I don't feel it's a wasted vote either, because it is a statement to 'mainstream' that says: "I'm fed up with your corruption and lies".
And believe me, they hear that! Both parties keep an eye on the shifting of the winds when independent vote counts increase every year.
In fact, in the last Presidential election, the Democrats realised it and went after the independent vote.
AN INDEPENDENT VOTE IS NOT A WASTED VOTE; IT'S A STATEMENT!
