The River Nile is the main feature of the Egyptian landscape in Northern Africa. The tip of the Nile in the north by the Nile Delta flows out into the Mediterranean Sea. Flowing back South, the river continues right into central Africa.

The river flows into similar 'nile' rivers; White Nile, Mountain Nile, Albert Nile, and Victoria Nile. The river eventually stops down in Lake Victoria in Uganda.
