The work of an insurance agent is to provide service to a prospective client. He/She will explain to the client about the insurance company profile he/she is in. And ask the client if he/she familiar with insurance. To provide solutions for what particular needs the client need. Like, how many years and premium the client wants to pay, who's the the beneficiary, can we change the beneficiary or permanent. Or the policy participating or not. By the way, i'm talking here of life insurance. Because there is another one which is Non-Life insurance. And don't forget to ask some questions like, do they go scuba-diving, paragliding and some risky sports. Some insurance company would not accept risky sports and also airline pilot. This is just some birds eye-view. If you are interested attend an insurance training.
