Why There Are 12 Sun Signs Not More Or Less ?

There are twelve sunsigns, decided by the ancient astronomers, who mapped out the movements of the sun, moon and stars, and the meridians and accendant stars.
They are called star or sun signs, because each sign has it's own planet. and moon sign and accendant, worked out by consulting a table of ascendants.
This system is ancient, so ancient that we don't know its origins. What we do know is that the ancient Egyptians, Babylonians, Sumerians, Chaldeans, Indians, and Chinese used it.
