Can A Bank Repossess A Car When There Is Not A Lien On The Title?

I have a loan thru a bank for my truck. They are threatening to repossess my truck. Can they do that if they do not have a lien on my truck? I live in Michigan

When you get a loan for a vehicle from a bank, the vehicle becomes collateral for the loan. The fact that the bank didn't register a lien doesn't mean they can't reposes it if you don't make the payments.
