    Range: India, Nepal, Burma, Bhutan, Bangladesh, China
    Approx. Population: 4,000

    Indo-Chinese
    Range: Thailand, Burma, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, China
    Approx. Population: 1,500

    Siberian
    Range: Russia, China, North Korea
    Approx. Population: 380

    Sumatran
    Range: Indonesia
    Approx. Population: 450

    South China
    Range: China
    Approx. Population: 25

    These numbers do not include the newly discovered Malayan tiger which there are an estimated 600.

    Approx Total: 7000 tigers in the wild.

      Last I heard there were only about 5,000 in Africa, and about 3,000 in siberia, so there isn't really a lot of them. Hope this helps.

      Tigers don't live in Africa.

      There is roughly 8,000 tigers left in the wild blad :D
