Edgewater is located at 80.2 degree West on the map of Florida. It is located right above the city of Hollywood, Florida. Edgewater is more like a community rather tan a town. It is a charming little community, very cozily located on the banks of the Indian River in Volusia County in Florida.
Another name given to Edgewater is "Hospitality City" as it is exactly that in the true sense, and is among the 50 best retirement communities in the United States. There are a number of activities including fishing, hiking trails, swimming, tennis, golf etc. There is 146 acres of parkland where you can get the true feel of solitude and scenic beauty. There are quite a few beaches within a 15 minutes driving distance from Edgewater, it is a great experience.
