    Latin America is the region of the Americas where languages derived from Latin are spoken like Spanish, Portuguese and in some places, French also. The region includes 10 countries and a total area of 21,069,501 kilometer squares. The total population is 569 million. The major religion in Latin America is Christianity with a majority of people being Roman Catholics but this is on the decline and more and more people are becoming Protestants especially in Brazil, Puerto Rico and Guatemala. In addition to this people also follow the tribal ancient rituals as well. The people who follow, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism and Buddhism are also there.
