How Much Is The State Pension?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

State Pension is usually given to people who are entitled to receive pension after they cross or reach the state pension age. State pension is distributed on the basis of contribution made by the National insurance.

The stipulated stated pension age of males is 65, where as for women it is anywhere between 60 to 65. You are eligible for state pension depending on the total amount of years you have worked. You are eligible to get a weekly state pension of 192.15 pounds, provided you meet the set regulations. The sum of all benefits is revised every year in April, but your State Pension won't be revised if you're residing in particular countries abroad. Usually you are sent a letter to claim your State Pension four months prior to reaching the State Pension age.
