A client server is an architecture in which server is like a cpu(which has processor, harddisk, etc), where the client is a only a computer which can only facilitate the service provided by the server.
Example: Internet works on client server architecture, where server is locate at some central location of the country and the pc you are working is a client and if you dont have connection to server then the client is of no use.
