How Does A Cactus Plant Make Its Own Food?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Food is made through the process of photosynthesis, just like any
other plant. The difference between a cactus making food from another
plant is that cacti have their leaves reduced to sharp spines, and therefore,
their stem contains chlorophyll and photosynthesis takes place through
    the stem.
