What Is Your Religion?

I am Episcopalian but I have many unorthodox views.  I read a lot from other religions and I incorporate teachings from other religions into my belief system.  Antonio Banderas (yes, the Spanish movie star hunk) quoted a Spanish philosopher who said, “There is no path.  You make the path with your own footsteps.”  I like the idea that we are on differing paths but I do believe that the same God is guiding our steps.

My religion is Christianity. How bout yours?

and i find it very rude of the muslim to say that they are the "greatest religion of all" i would never say that about catholicism and for the record i am very offended...

I wouldn't say that I have a religion, because I believe that religion implies doing something to achieve something in return, doing something religiously in other words, kind of like the Pharisees in the New Testament who religiously studied and tried to follow the Law or the Ten commandments and others passed on from God to Moses. I am a follower of Christ Jesus, a Christian if you will, I just believe in the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus as the forgiveness of my sins, and the gate into eternal life in heaven with the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. What do you consider yourself and have you found fulfillment in the spiritual part of your life with blessed assurance. I believe this only comes from Jesus.

I find a lot of truth in a lot of places so I have taken something from everywhere almost and came up with my own happy place spirituality that makes the most sense to me from what I have learned. I guess I am an ecclectic pagan. I just do not believe any one group has gotten it completely right alone!

I would consider myself my own religion with a touch of pantheism ;) organized religion is false in my opinion.
