It is bad when you can't help a 14 year old with simple math I know the formula for Interest but I need to know how to find the principle when all I have is the IRT

    You can use the interest formula for finding the principle amount. It is as follows:
    P= i/rt
    where
    p is principal amount
    i is interest amount
    r is rate of interest
    and T is the time for investment
