Answer Question

The four different types of cursors are:

Client cursors -  which keeps track of the rows returned from Adaptive Server and buffers them for the application.

Execute cursors - which are a subset of client cursors. The values of the parameters are sent through Open Client calls.

Server cursors - these are used in stored procedures and the client executing the stored procedure is not aware of them.

Language cursors - these are declared in SQL without using Open Client. And the results are returned to the client in the same format as a normal select.
