Who Is Barbara Gaskin?

Barbra Gaskin is a British singer and she was born in Hatfield and there she spent most of her life. In 1980 she formed a singing duo with Dave Stewart by the name of ‘Stewart and Gaskin’. They came up with a hit song called ‘it my party’ in 1981. She was trained in playing the piano and cello and later on, she taught herself to play the guitar as well. She got admitted in Kent University where she became the lead singer for a band called spirogyra. She also spent some time in Asia where she became inspired by Asian music as well.
