How Long Should A Puppy Be Left Alone For?
Because I know someone who leaves their dog for 24 hours at a time. And personally I think it's cruel.

Depends on the puppy, but most are just fine left in a kennel where they will be safe, for 8-10 hours. They will need water, a bed, and a couple of toys along with a newspaper or pee pad. A smaller kennel will make them feel safer and I like to have the radio or TV for them.
I flew from Anchorage to Arkansas and that was a 14 hour trip and the puppy was fine, but I wouldn't recommend this everyday.

I don't think it's a good idea to make a habit of it. It's important that a puppy gets plenty of exercise.Taking care of a puppy isn't something that should be taken lightly.
