Our 7 Yr. Old Schnauzer Eats The Feces From Any Other Dog Than Has Gone In Our Yard, Now Wwe Have A 11 Mo. Old And He Is Starting To Eat The Feces Of The Old One What Can We Do?

Is there anything we can put in their food that when the eliminate it will taste very bad? We try to clean up after each one as soon as they go, but sometimes it is just not possible. We need any help you can give us, we have tried everything we could think of.

There are many reasons for this behavior. One of it is that the meal your dog is getting can be nutritionally deficient that's why he is attracted to faeces. Because faeces has higher quantity of protein. You should check the nutritional value of the food you are giving to your pet. Secondly you should divide meal time into four to five servings in a day.

We called a Vet. for a good food to give them & we have been feeding them more times a day. This hasn't helped, thank you for your advice, however, we need to know some of the other reasons for this behavior & what we can do about it. do you have any other suggestions??
