Can You Give An Outline Of Pakistan Sri Lanka Abu Dhabi Cricket Series?

After the recently concluded World Cup in Caribbean it'll be the first series for either team. Sri Lanka played very well in the world cup and was runner ups in the competition. In the final they were beaten by mighty Aussies. Even in the final they played good cricket but overcame by the devastating form of Australian Wicket keeper batsman Adam Gilchrist.
For Pakistan the world cup was like a bad dream. Not only Pakistan knocked out form the tournament in the first stage but lost Coach Bob Woolmer also who was killed in his hotel room. Pakistan was defeated by cricket minnows Ireland in the first round that resulted in Pakistan ouster from the competition.

Pakistan will play the first series under the leadership of young Shoaib Malik. After a disappointing World cup Pakistan captain Inzamam-il-Haq retired from One-day cricketIt's a litmus test for the captaincy of Shoaib Mailk. In the currents series Pakistan will try best to salvage some honor and pride.

Sri Lanka is not playing with three main players, i.e. Muralitharan, Vaas and Sangakkara but still they are a very strong side. It's a last series of Tom Moody as Sri Lanka and Lankans will be extra motivated to give Moody a departing present.
A very competitive series is on the cards and cricket lovers will enjoy this series.

This series should be so important for both the countries. It is a real test for Pakistan after after their defeat in the first round of the world Cup. There should be so much pressure on new Captain and whole team to regain their confidence. Sri lanka has to take part in this series without his three star players Vaas, Sangakara and Murli. According to my opinion Pakistan has more chances to win this series as compared to Srilanka. The presence of Muhammad Asif is good for team. Pakistan also has the crowd sport than Sri lanka. But all the matches must be tough for both the teams. No one can easily win.
Both of them have to perform so well to lead the series. This series also give some Confidence to Pakistan. As we know that Srilanka has performed so well in the World Cup and JaySuria is also in good form. Pakistan team has to work extra ordinary in all the three fields to win the series. Bowlers of Sri lanka, Especially Malanga is in good form. So that series should be real test for both the teams. Due to absence of three star players Sri lanka has to work hard.
