Snakes have inspired man from the very start. These creatures, spooky though, have a special place in almost all cultures. Some tribes and religions give great value to snakes. A few religions describe snakes as Divine. They might also worship them. Snakes have also been given the title of being an Avatar by some.
Snakes, while being of religious value to some, might frighten others out of their wits. They have a spooky reputation in most parts of the world. Though only a third of the world's snakes are poisonous, people lose their heads on sighting one. Most can't figure out the kind of the snake they are seeing. There are repeated sightings of snakes in village areas where there are fields. They fields are normally wheat, sugar cane, barley or rice. These are delicacies for mice and rats, which are delicacies to the snakes.
There are trained people in the villages who have with them to hunt and kill snakes. These people are not trained enough though, they can't figure out which snakes are poisonous and which are not.Good photography requires a clear shot of the subject, and it's quite difficult to capture snakes, as they are really fast.
