Who Is The Creator Of Phantom?

Phantom is a comic book hero created by Lee Falk who also created the magician comic book hero Mandrake. The Phantom Series began first as a news paper strip on February 17, 1936 and later was published in the form of comic books.

The Phantom a masked hero in a skin tight costume living in the jungle and the nemesis of pirates and villains became an instant hit with children all over the world. His exploits along with his superb horse Hero and faithful mountain wolf Devil were eagerly read by children.

His fist which knocked bad men became a potent weapon preferred to the pistols that he carried which were used to knock weapons out of the hands of the villains. Phantom was one of the first heroes who also had his own family. Lee Falk died in 1999 but his legacy as creating one of the first comic book heroes will live on.
