    Kildale is a parish located in the county of Yorkshire, near the city of Hull. It is a parish in the North Riding. The North Riding is located in the county of Yorkshire in England. It is located in the wapentake and liberty of Langbargh. Wapentake and liberty are two geographical divisions which are commonly used terms in the United Kingdom. They are, however, not known, outside England and the rest of the United Kingdom. It is located at a distance of about six miles to the south of the town of Guisborough.

    The church at Kildale is an ancient structure. It is dedicated to St. Cuthbert. It is in a low, retired position and located at a little distance towards the south of the village. A castle which formerly belonged to the Earls of Northumberland exists in the parish of Kildale. Some of the important landmarks in or near the parish of Kildale are Kempswithen, Thunderbush, Wayworth and West House.
