    "Of" means "times."

    Examples
    1/3 of 6 means (1/3)*6 = 2

    50% of 10 = 50%*10 = (50/100)*10 = 5

      The MEAN is the arithmetic average, the average you are probably used
      to finding for a set of numbers - add up the numbers and divide by how
      many there are: Example : (80 + 90 + 90 + 100 + 85 + 90) / 6 = 89 1/6.

        Of Means (used to indicate distance or direction from, separation, deprivation, etc.) Ex: Within a mile of the church; south of Omaha; to be robbed of one's money. =D

        That looks like the English usage, rather than the Math usage.

        Of definitely means divide like 1/5 of 20 u DIVIDE 20 by 5
