I Know Of A Girl In My Neighborhood Who Abuses Her 1 Year Old Brother Badly, Blood & All....What Should I Do?

This is a very upsetting situation for you. The best thing would be to ask your parents to help, and hopefully contact the police. However if you know or think that they wouldn't do this, it sounds as if you have no option but to tell them yourself. If this baby is already being hit so hard that he bleeds, then he is in serious danger. This girl is committing a very serious crime.

You may be worried about getting her into trouble with the authorities, but if she is young (I guess she is not fully adult) they won't deal with her so severely. Nobody treats a small child like this unless they have bad problems themselves, and your calling the police is also a chance for her to be given the help she needs.

Before contacting them (or asking your parents to do it) please try to remember as much about the abuse - times, dates etc - as you can, because they will need to ask. But don't worry if you can't remember everything; they have to investigate an accusation like this. You could save a child from serious injury or worse.

This girl needs help now before she gets any older and does more bad things. You should break the cycle, stop her now and report her to the authorities or social services. That poor baby does not deserve that. Your friend is very sick and this is not healthy behavior.

If the child is being abused his parents must have seen the blood and be aware that something's happening. You need to act very quickly to help this little boy who is still only a helpless baby.
You need to inform someone in Social Services  or get someone to do it for you.

It sounds as if the situation at this childs home is anything but normal if parents are turning a blind eye to this . They might be anxious for help but don't want to implicate their daughter but someone must for the liitle boys sake.

Don't ever doubt your self for doing the right thing,no matter what happens and most of all don't blame yourself, you're doing the right thing for all of the family and you can pat yourself on the back for not looking away like other weaker people have done!

PLEASE!  Do the right thing!  This person will end up hurting that child or killing it.  It is on your hands if you say nothing and she hurts that baby.  You should report it to the authorities, don't bother with the parents.  Go straight to the source.

Please do the right thing to protect the little brother: 1. Tell your parent who should call the police; 2. Tell your teacher who should call the police, or 3. Call 911 if in America or call your police phone number and tell them.  Any child or teenager who purposely hurts another is sick and needs help that the police can arrange through the Social Services or Health Department.  No child should ever be hurt like you described by any other person who is older or bigger.  Please call the police or the girl might kill or terribly damage her brother and then someone else and more.  Have you ever seen or known of her hurting a cat or dog that way? First, you should seek guidance from your parents. They will know what to do. If they don't believe you, tell this to someone in the neighbourhood whom everyone respects. That way, your word will have authority and the little boy will be saved.
