Which Soil Holds The Most Water Topsoil ,clay,or Sand?

Clay. It is usually moist or wet when you dig it. Water seeps through sand quickest, and topsoil is like a sponge and can hold a lot of water when wet, but clay is the correct answer. Clay is used in pottery and the water dried out and fired to temperatures that remove all water and make vessels.
