    Paolo di Dono was much more famous with the name of Paolo Uccello. He was an Italian painter of 14th century. Paolo was born in 1397 in Pratovecchio near Florence. At the age of 18, Paolo was admitted to the painters' guild in Florence. He was trained by the sculptor Lorenzo Ghiberti, though Paolo was not a well known sculptor.

    'The Deluge' was the greatest creation of Paolo as a painter. It was taken place in the Chiostro Verde of Santa Maria Novella. The famous work of Paolo could be confirmed of his passionate study of perspective. Paolo became very much popular and famous too. He could have identified with perspective in a very firmly way, John Ruskin was so much pleased with his conception of painting. One of his popular illustrations which were made with the three panels' method was, 'The battle of Sun Romano'. It became a very famous and widely accepted paint of 14th century. He combined the decorative of the late Gothic Style. As well as it was the new heroic style of the early renaissance.

    Paolo di Dono was died on 10th December of 1475 in Florence. He would ever be known as one of the  greatest painter of 14th century.
