Can My Dog Have Tylenol?

Answer Question

I would not give your dog tylenol.  You need to talk to your veterinarian about why your dog needs tylenol and about appropriate non-steroidal anti-inflammatories in dogs.  Medication is deemed safe based on problem being treated, health status of the dog and weight.  Your veterinarian is the best person to determine appropriate medication for your dog.
Human non-steroidals are not as safe as veterinary formulated medication--they can cause more gastrointestinal issues and gastric ulcers.

No No No.  Dogs can't metabolize Tylenol.   Baby aspirin are safest for them.  But please contact your vet for suggestions and dosage.
