HCG is an hormone that is secreted by the embryo and presence of this hormone in the blood or urine is test of pregnancy. Its levels are measured in International Units per Liter. A levels of hCG 0-5 means no pregnancy. A levels more than 5 can be due to pregnancy. A level of below 20 of hCG suspect pregnancy and confirm pregnancy when 20-25. So, in your case, an hCG levels of 2 means no pregnancy.
