Does Anyone Out There Have Crohn's Disease?

Can you tell me the symptoms you have, what triggers the symptoms, and what you are doing to help. Any OTC treatments?

    Crohn's disease is a conditions which is characterized by inflammation of the digestive tract leading to abdominal pain and diarrhea. Signs and symptoms of Crohn's disease are diarrhea, abdominal cramps and pain, bloody stool, ulcer in the intestine and mouth, fever, fatigue, arthritis, inflammation of liver or bile, inflammation of the eye etc. Exact cause and factors which trigger symptoms are not known but some studies suggest that this problem can be autoimmune and inherited. Studies also suggest that diet and stress can trigger symptoms. Anti-inflammatory drugs can help to relieve symptoms. These drugs are sulfasalazine, mesalamine, Corticosteroids, immunosuppressants, antibiotics, antidiarrheal, laxatives, pain killers like tylenol, iron supplements, vitamin B12 supplements, vitamin D supplements, calcium upplements, special diet, and surgery.
