How Do You Define Beauty?

The word beauty has several meanings. A beauty is a gorgeous person usually applied to women. Beauty the abstract noun is defined as something that that appeals to the senses and is characterized by harmony of colour, form, or is associated with excellence of artistry, originality and truthfulness. Beauty is also applied to a spectacular example of something, for instance "That was a beauty of a pudding". It is an emotional perception of the positive aspects of objects.

Beauty is highly subjective term. The things or people that one person may find beautiful may be very different from the things that another person may find beautiful. It is rightly said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Sometimes is it said that beauty is skin deep meaning that it is not the physical bodies of humans that makes them beautiful but rather the goodness of their soul and their sweetness of their character.
