How Do I Get A Blurtit User To Be My Friend?
If I encounter a certain user and I want to ask him\her permission to be my friend, how can I send a request to that individual.

This is the easiest thing in the world you click on that persons profile page;scroll down to their friend list;and click on make me their friend, but it will take them a while to approve on that.

Click on your username, and when you get in there, scroll all the way down to your friends list. There in the black/gray area, you will see where it says "add friends", click on that, then when it takes you to a new page, you want to go to scroll down to where it says, "Add a New Friend".
Type their username in there, and it will tell you after it processes to wait while your request is being considered. That is when you can go back about your business for a while until they go into their profile and accept or remove you from their friends list. Hope this helps, good luck, and welcome aboard!

That is exactly right. Just go to their page and click on the, (make me their friend) bar. Then you must wait for them to come onsite and accept you.
