New Nose Piercing..Can You Help?
I got my nose pierced this past Friday so it has only been roughly two days, the barbell is down inside the hole kinda I'm not sure if it's because my nose is swollen or what? I clean it twice a day and I don't touch it unless I'm cleaning it but I'm worried that if I don't push the top of the ring out it may grow over it? IS this NORMAL for a nose piercing?

If it is swelling that much it's bad news. Are u cleaning it with dial antibacterial? I would go back to who pierced it and tell them u need a longer bar to compensate for the swelling. It is not normal. Use only dial about 3x a day. U may wanna use some peroxide too. But definitely get back to the piercer or even another one if u can't get to the one who did it.

The bar is not long enough if the swelling continues your likly to suffer an infection which can be messy and result in taking the piercing out you need to go straight back to the piercer and ask them to change the bar until the swelling subsides here

NO do not use peroxide this will irritate it and possibly infect it i have MANY piercings and know from experience. What you do need is saline solution and sea salt they can both be found anywhere. Swelling as normal and yes it will sometimes suck the stud in. With a nostril piercing the scar usually turns in or out in your case it sounds like it is turning out and it can scar over the actual stud IF you dont clean it and keep the stud moving... Its just like getting your ear pierced and they tell you to move it...dont play with it a lot because it will irritate it other than that enjoy :)
