    The might of a nation is its economy and technology. If you would have strong economy and technology then you can make powerful weapons and manufacture all kind of goods to boost the economy.

        I would say the might of a nation comes from it's ability to overpower or influence other countries. This usually occurs by having a large infrastructure, location, riches, weapons, and a competent government. If a nation has one or more of these attributes it still may not become mighty due to an incompetent government.
