Yes and No.
Straightening your hair makes it become dry and brittle because it sucks all the natural oils and moisture out of your hair. So if you have straightened your hair everyday for a long period of time (Say 2+ years) without using heat protecting spray and nourishing treatment with moisture repair shampoo & conditioner then yes it will fall out causing it to thin. I have straightened my hair everyday for almost 4 years now using heat protection spray on and off without any nourishing treatments or anything and it has just started to thin.Whilst straightening your hair you need to take extra good care of it otherwise you will have none left! There are ways to rebuild your hairs natural thickness back up which may take some time and money but its worth it unless your willing to go bald.

No, straightening your hair shouldn't cause your hair to fall out if you take care of it and do not 'over-do' straightening it.

If you straighten your hair too often without using special lotion/spray for protection before straightening, your hair could become very dried out and damaged.

what type straightening are you referring to Heat or Chemical, because if you are referring to heat all black people would be bald as that was the only way for those of them with extremely curly hair to have straight hair when they wanted it,and now they have chemicals also. What you see of your hair is already dead, and sheds anyway.

I'm scared of all this posts because my mom and my aunt always tell me that my hair is going to fall out. That's the only way I like my hair to be. What do I do?

My best friend has really curly hair and she uses straighteners that can be used by people with her hair type.

There are many different straighteners which cater for different hair types out there, you just have to look.
She finds that hers are really good and she manages to straighten her hair in about 30 mins.

I would recommend finding the correct straighteners, and so long as you don't straighten your hair when it's wet after washing (causing it to burn slightly), and use special hair spray lotion for protection, it shouldn't cause any damage.

Lastly, you shouldn't hate your curly hair as so many people would kill for curls rather than lank, lifeless hair!

No ! But then again it depends on the person.
I wash, blow dry, then iron my hair( 2 times a week ) for about (3 years now ) and my hair is softer and shinier than in the beginning. This is also because I spent money on a quality ceramic iron from SEPHORA --- "T3 " Bespoke Labs Wide Wet-Or-Dry 1 3/4" Iron which costs ( $200.00 ), but it is worth it. Not only does it do the job but it leaves your hair flawless and sometimes you have to splurge in order to maintain certain things.
I mean you don't want to ruin your hair to save a couple of bucks ?

Yeah It really does. I experienced this before when i tried straightened my hair. If your hair dresser put too much chemicals on your hair then it probably make your hair loss.

Yes. Heating your hair makes it dry and can lead to hair loss. If you are using hair straighteners and dryers on a regular basis then you should take extra care of your hair. Make use of essential oils, you can go for coconut, almond and rosemary oil as they are very good for your hair. And use low heat straighteners to reduce the hair damage. Hope this helps you.

You can certainly damage your hair

and even pull it out when using straighteners but you cannot cause irreversible hair loss. Straightening your hair does not directly cause hair loss. The only part of the hair that is alive and growing is in the scalp, under the skin's surface.

It depends on the person but most of the time, no. It also depends on how he or she is straighting their hair. If they use too much heat that can cause falling out.

I straighten my hair all the time. I do have naturally curly hair and it does get a little dry. I sleep with a leave in treatment and the next day it looks healthy. My hair does break but it never falls out.
