You can do a 4th grade astronomy experiment. In this project, you will experiment with launching into orbit. You need 3 people to do this.
The things required are:
A marble which represents a satellite; a ruler which represents speed; and a tape that measures with a mark which represents how far the satellite needs to go to get into orbit. See here for more information. Astronomy project

How about a simple experiment, such as the paper towel experiment. You take two brands of paper towels. Then you test to see which one is more absorbent. It may sound simple, but it is loads of fun and teachers love it.
