Where To Find Good Pub Food In Edinburgh?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Pubs in Edinburgh are synonymous with Rose Street. Although it has lost some of its popularity with the locals the street is still an immensely popular spot with many charming bars. For good food as well as good drink for instance there is The Abbotsford, Brecks, Metros/Mr Q's, The Kenilworth and Scott's on this street.

There are numerous pubs all over Edinburgh. Other popular places include Clarks Bar, 142 Dundas St, Cafe Royal, W. Register St. Bar 38 , George St and The Basement, Broughton St. One pub that also offers experimental vegetarian food is Black Bo's, Blackfriar's St.

Edinburgh has a mind-boggling pub scene with a greater diversity than one would expect to find in cities four times its size. Today the variety of food that is on offer in Edinburgh's licensed premises is considered as extensive as its stock of real ales, beers, wines, spirits and alcopops.
